The Chubritza International Folk Band will perform an evening of music from the Balkans, Israel, and Russia on traditional instruments Saturday, Sept. 10, at 7:30 p.m. Their songs reflect many universal themes: the passion of being in love, the sorrow of lost love, and the happiness music and dance bring to the heart. This concert is the season opener for the Fortuna Concert Series at the Monday Club, 610 Main Street, Fortuna, California. Tickets are $10 general/ $8 student/seniors.
