A fun afternoon learning klezmer tunes with authentic klezmer style, and a traditional jam, led by the terrific musician and teacher Dmitri Gaskin. Balance of learning by ear and with sheet music. For all instruments; no klezmer experience needed (but it doesn't hurt!). Must be at least intermediate level on your instrument. Mute required if you are a brass player. To get a head start, check out sheet music and/or sound files in advance. Bring a recording device if you like.
