Bulgarian ensemble Bulgarika will give a free performance on March 11 at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. Featuring Donka Koleva (vocals), Nikolai Kolev (gadulka), Vladimir Mollov (accordion), and Stoyan Kostov (vocals, tambura). Dancers and listeners are equally welcome! Free and open to the public. Parking available adjacent to the venue in Parking Lot 7 for $1 per hour. (See directions to Bowen-Thompson Student Union below.)

Bulgarika is a group of four master musicians with decades of performing experience. They are all steeped in Bulgarian music and rhythms from a young age. In their performances they draw on formal and informal training, as well as their experience as teachers. The band maintains extensive contact with other Balkan natives, from the Black Sea to the Adriatic, and bring for your enjoyment the very best of the Bulgarian folk-music tradition.

- The Student Union building is located on the southwest side of campus at Bowling Green State University.
- As you exit I-75 and enter the city of Bowling Green, you will head west on Wooster Street. On Wooster Street, drive approximately two miles (fourth stoplight) and turn right onto Thurstin Street. The Bowen-Thompson Student Union & entrance to Parking Lot 7 will be one half-block up the road on the right side of Thurstin Street.
