Partners

The EEFC is proud to partner with sister organizations, including the Bulgarian Folk Music & Dance Seminar.

Stojan Stojanov

Macedonian Clarinet & Saxophone

Stojan Stojanov’s first clarinet and saxophone teacher was his father, and he has played publicly from age 15, including for folk music concerts and weddings. He studied music formally both in high school and at the Goce Delčev University in Štip, where he played kaval in the university folk band. He specializes in clarinet and saxophone, and is an accomplished singer and zurla player as well.

Stojan began his professional career when he founded and led the band Tip-Top. He has been teaching and performing professionally for 15 years as a freelancer, and primarily for Macedonian folk dance and music seminars. He is a founding member of the Veles-based Folkpal organization, which promotes Macedonian music and dance and produces a variety of seminars throughout Europe.
