Balkan Roots screens @ Long Beach Indie Film Fest

August 31, 2017 at 3:45 pm

Six musicians from across Europe. A Barcelona melting pot. Music from Roma, Klezmer & Balkan traditions...but with a Barcelona twist?

This music-driven, high energy film follows the incredible Barcelona Gipsy Klezmer Orchestra as they tour the Balkans, playing with local musicians and exploring their Balkan roots. With a mix of extraordinary performances and intimate reflections, Balkan Roots is a love letter to traditional music and the musicians who bring it to us.
