BalkanFest Montréal

Join us for the 2nd edition of BalkanFest Montréal on September 14th 2019!

The concept: Balkan camp in a day!

10 AM - 5 PM
Workshops covering Bulgarian, Croatian, Greek, Romani, Turkish, Macedonian & Serbian repertoire led by:
Dance : Darinka Cindrić , Yves Moreau , Jocelyne Vaillancourt, Tsonko Stoyanov
Instrumental music : Sergiu Popa, Petar Ralchev
Song : Dina Cindrić, Brenna MacCrimmon

5 - 7: 30 PM
Dinner break with Bulgarian food and drinks on sale

7:30 - 11:30 PM
Dance party featuring:
Brenna MacCrimmon, Turkish and Bulgarian singing
Domaći Trubači, Serbian brass band
Markovi Orchestra, Bulgarian ensemble
Murmurosi, Ukrainian vocal duo
Sergiu Popa, Moldav, Romanian, Romani, etc!
Petar Ralchev, Bulgarian accordion virtuoso
Sava vocal ensemble
Sumak Brass band, Macedonian, Turkish, Romani, and Bulgarian

Admission: $30 for the workshops; $25 for the evening party; 50 $ for the whole festival
