Celebration of the 140th anniversary of the Bulgarian Liberation

March 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Dear friends,

Welcome to the celebration of the 140th anniversary of the Bulgarian Liberation from the Ottoman ruling and the restoration of the Bulgarian state.

The ceremony opens with a ritual of welcoming “Baba Marta” in the park in front of the hall, with the participation of the children from the Bulgarian schools "Khan Asparuh" and "Martenichki" at 2 pm.
At 3 pm we will enter the hall where we will enjoy the songs and the people specially prepared for this celebration by different groups and participants.

The folk festival and the horo will be led by the “Nestinari” Orchestra. Let’s come together and dance again under the rhythms of the Bulgarian folk music.

Special guest of the event is the Russian folk group "Kalinka" from Sacramento.

We will offer traditional Bulgarian cuisine and Bulgarian wines.
