Mendocino Folklore Camp is an opportunity to get away from the world while experiencing so many diverse parts of it. Come spend a week in the Coastal Redwoods of Northern California's Mendocino Woodlands.
Days are filled with dance and music workshops. Each evening is a themed party with dancing after dinner to live music, followed by a late-night kafana to keep the fun going into the early hours. Dancers will enjoy our Romanian (Cristian Florescu & Sonia Dion), Scandinavian (Roo Lester with Harry Khamis) and Greek Macedonian (Yannis Konstantinou) workshops, while musicians will appreciate singing classes by Beata Bermuda (Scandinavian) and Michele Simon (Balkan Favorites) as well as ensembles led by Bill Cope (Bulgarian/Macedonian Tambura), Chris Thomas (Polka Band), Michele Simon (Balkan Drumming), Beata Bermuda (Scandinavian), and more!!
Experience the joy of relaxing in nature, vacationing with old and new friends, feasting, learning, and enjoying the daily dance parties or fun folklore celebrations!
