The 62nd Annual San Antonio Folk Dance Festival - SAFDF

March 13, 2020 at 3:00 pm – March 15, 2020 at 5:00 pm

The SAFDF started was founded by Nelda Drury 63 years ago. It is held at Our Lady of the Lake University - OLLU - in beautiful San Antonio, Texas. This is a fun-filled weekend with dance workshops, fabulous evening parties, and amazing stage performances! This year we are honored to feature the distinguished Bulgarian teacher, Ventzi Sotirov, who will be at SAFDF for the first time! We welcome back Lee Otterholt, Andy Taylor-Blenis and Franklin Houston, who will teach a variety of International dances. On Saturday night, SAFDF holds a fabulous performance of International dance groups at OLLU's Thiry Auditorium. The performance features Bata Marcetic's Academy of Serbian Dancers from Toronto, Canada. The cost of $140 for the weekend includes the Saturday night dance performance, all workshops and evening parties.
